Are there any problems with the Adobe Flashplayer during the chat?
Currently, the two functions “Cam2Cam” and “sound transmission” (audio) do not work without access from the Adobe Flashplayer. You may be able to help with the following solutions during the chat.
Activation of Flashplayer in Chrome Browser
- Choose “settings” at the top of the screen (3 Punkte)
- Enter “Flash” in the search field
- Always enable flash (may be undone after using the webpage)
- Right-click with the mouse in the chat window, select “reload”
- Audio / Cam2Cam selection, flash request confirmation
- Then both additional features should work fine.
Possibly also necessary:
- Click on the lock in the address bar of the browser
- Allow camera / microphone / flash access
Activation of Flashplayer in Firefox Browser
- Call the “Add ons” with the key combination “Strg + Shift + A”
- “Shockwave Flash” Set access to “always activate” (kmay be undone after using the webpage)
- Right-click with the mouse in the chat window, select “reload”
- Audio / Cam2Cam selection, flash request confirmation
- Then both additional features should work fine.
Optional:
- Click on the lock in the address bar of the browser
- Click on the arrow behind “Secure Connection”, then on “Further Information”
- In the following picture you can click explicitly on the top again, that Flash should be activated here – possibly this was negated in a previous session by mistake.
Activation of Flashplayer in Edge Browser
- Click on the lock in the address bar of the browser
- Allow access to Flash
- At this point, the user can also revoke the authorization later
Optional:
- Click on the puzzle piece on the right side of the address bar
The Flashplayer has issues with Windows XP
Should you still use a PC with Windows XP, we can only give you the good advice that you should urgently buy a new PC with the current operating system. The Windows XP system is no longer supported by Microsoft since April 2014.
